Randon T. Eddy

Randon T. Eddy is a distinguished artist renowned for her vibrant watercolors and innovative acrylics, deeply inspired by her lifelong passion for nature and wildlife. A Master Naturalist and wildlife enthusiast, Randon began her artistic journey in childhood, sketching the landscapes and creatures surrounding her.

Her early professional years were spent in academia, where she taught at colleges and universities, though her focus was not initially on the arts. It was during her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Liberia, West Africa, that Randon rediscovered her artistic calling. Immersed in the vibrant culture of small villages, she began to paint in watercolor, captivating local children who eagerly gathered to watch her capture their world on paper.

In recognition of her talent, Randon has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Emmit Fritz "Best Painting" award at the 2022 Honors Show from the St. Augustine Art Association, and the "Outstanding Acrylic" award from the Bold Brush Aug. Art Competition. Her work has been showcased in two solo exhibitions at the J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, where she sold enough paintings to realize her dream of visiting Italy, a country that further ignited her artistic passion.

As a former president of the Sanibel/Captiva Art Association, Randon is currently an active member of both the St. Augustine Art Association and The Art League of Daytona Beach. Her artwork has found a permanent home in notable collections, including the education pavilion at J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, the Sanibel Public Library, and the Office of the Director at the Children's Hospital in Boston, MA, as well as numerous private collections nationwide. Randon T. Eddy continues to enrich the artistic landscape with her evocative depictions of nature and wildlife, celebrating the intricate beauty of the world around us.
